Hi all

It's been a month since getting my fibreglass 308 on the road after purchase. After a few hundred km the front end got very rattly and squeaky.

Turns out the rose joints (all 8) in the front end could not take the sudden activity after standing for 12 months with the previous owner. Another recomendation for regular driving.

So back to the workshop for front end bushes and joints plus Koni's rebuilt while they are at it.

Hopefully it will be fully fit when I get it back.

On the subject of italian, does anyone know how to say '308' in Italian? Is it tre zero otto?

Your Italian is 100% correct Sorry to hear about the problems with the 308. It must be a bugger getting the car and now it is sitting in a workshop after only a few km's Ferrari's are definitely more happier being driven then just sitting around.

Most of my Italian friends and family members would say it as you would in english F50 or F40. Just with an Italian accent

Eg: io giudo una F50 (I drive an F50)
io giudo una F40 (I drive an F40)

or

if you want the 50 and 40 in Italian, try emphasize the ''F'' as if it was spelt e'F,

Eg: io giudo e'F cinquanta (I drive an F50)
io giudo e'F quaranta (I drive an F40)


Hope this will help. Being Italian living in S.A and not speaking the lingo, my Italian can be rusty.
