The sun visor on the passenger side of my car keeps falling down. I went to the dealership and they said I would need to purchase a new one. Yipes.

Does anyone have an easy way to stop the sun visor from falling down. I wanted to use some duct tape but my wife said. “NO!”

I can't beelive there isn't a way to fix it Bart - although I'm not sure what the friction mechanism that holds them up is made of - I can't imagine it's too high tech. I would have thought you could pad out the hoel where it joins to the bar on which it rotates with something.

May be worth taking it to bits and seeing if you can "invent something"

on my car a 91 mr2(far from ferrari but what ever) the driver side does that it bothers me so much. i tried to use velcro, it did not work for me but if you got good velcro that was sticky on the back side it may work for you. if you want to do that to your car

soon i think i am just going to take it off and have sun glasses if it is that sunny

As a quick fix, try the velcro stickers. You should be able to get a pack at your local auto supply store. They work well but might leave a slight glue mark on the roof lining.
