How much would an '84 GTO cost??

The 288GTO cost about the same as the F40 and certainly cheaper than the F40LM. Are we talking about the same car here?




Check out EVO either January or February 2004 edition (I can't remember), where the 4 cars, Enzo, F50, F40 and 288GTO were tested. The prices are published there. So lets not argue over this. The magazine will tell all.

Good point Dirk - but one must assume that this is because he doesn't want one.

It's hardly going to be that he can't afford one!!!

You're right. His collections are new Ferraris and it didn't start till the late 80's I think. Her doesn't buy "used" cars, not production cars anyway. But has a lot of F1 cars, those that won the championships. The Sultan's collection are the rare prototypes and one-off show cars (which he part finance) and the Pininfarina modified production models. He doesn't have the basic production cars, all his are modified. :green:

Well, to get back to the original question...I paid around $30 US Dollars for my 288 GTO. :p :evil: :p
