Hey Bart, This is like doing this by remote because we don't know all the circumstances but anyway 1. Did you notice normal lower pressure prior to this happening? 2. How many miles are on the car? 3. Is your Tech. a certified Ferrari Tech.? I can tell you that it can be fixed that way to show correctly on the guage but does it correct the problem??? I can't imagine the car not being set properly before it left the factory. These are just questions to get some history for a logical breakdown. I don't know that much about that engine but the mechanics here are basic.
