Hello Everyone,

I was hoping I can get some advice from someone. I am about to trade my 2002 Aston Martin Vanquish (black on black w/15,000 miles) in for a 2000 Ferrari 360 Modena.

The 360 Modena has 44,000 miles on it. Scuderia shield, tubi exhaust, all services done, rear challenge grill, new clutch and pristine condition... just a two owner car!

PLEASE... I love the car, but don't want to take a huge hit on the mileage if I ever resell it.... I spent 119k for the Vanquish.

From a mechanical standpoint, the current mileage should not be an issue ifthe 360 has been properly maintained. It is already a "high" mileage Ferrari so adding a bunch more should not make much of a difference. Just make sure it is properly priced now. Where you are likely to take a big financial hit is if you turn a ow mileage Ferrari into a high mileage one. Adding more miles to one that is already high mileage, should be less of an issue.

Maybe a controversial opinion? If depreciation is a concern, I'd keep the Vanquish, with only 1400 examples compared to 17000+ 360's, the vanquish will probably bottom out much sooner than the 360. Looking at used car prices in the UK, it seems as though many AM prices are on the way up as there has been a strong growth in demand over recent years.
Ultimately I suppose it depends what you really want, having never driven either I can't say which is a better drivers car, but from a looks point of view, I'd prefer the Ferrari.

thinking the 360 higher, the AV is way down last I looked....isn't keeping pace very well.

Doubt a 360 with 51,000 miles will loose much value in the next year. Big value drop would be taking a 20k mile 360 and putting 20k additional miles on it.
