Hey Steve

Welcome to the forum.

I just had my new tires mounted. What a nightmare. Wanted Michelin PS2, way to much money, fell back to bridgestone RE050's, only one rear size in the country, waited 6 weeks by the promise we will get you one. Got frustrated and switched to Toyo Proxy T1R's. What seemed like a clear downgrade but I can't wait any longer. Bolted them up and took'em for a quick spin. Seem a little soft entering the corner but after initial loading seem to settle out. Also installed a TPMS system from Orange instruments. That friggen rocks. Tire pressures and temps reported with adjustable alarm settings.

I'm on a 30 day test drive. What do you think of the Toyo's? Have I made a mistake?

Hi There

Toyos arent a bad tyre by any means and when nothing else is about they are a good choice, however they arent upto spec for the F40 ie,load rating, speed rating and grip levels.
Great choice on the TPM system by the way.:)
