Hi everybody !

Summer is coming and i'm about to end the big restor of my 308 GTBi 2v.
Before rebuilding head of engine, i have to change timing belts and bearings and proceed in valves adjusting .

My questions are : does anyone knows the belt tensioners tightening value
(if necessary) ?
And about the valve adjusting tolerance (mm) ?

Without these informations i can't do a good job, shure you guess it ...

Thanks

Regards

Major service

Valve clearance is 0.20 to 0.25 mm for intake, 0.30 to 0.35 mm for exhaust. The timing belt tensioners are spring loaded, and the bolt that locks the tensioner down is torqued to 6.6 Kgm. The service manual gives a pretty good description of the procedures for both operations. Good luck -Steve
