Guys I found this in one of our local papers. Looks like it is in my price range. What questions should I ask the owner before I go out to view. Your suggestions are welcome.

What is a fair price for a restored 308. I know vettes and if vettes are restored they are never worth the same as an orginal low KM/Mi vette. I am a bit scared of this sucker when the guy says frame off that to mee says rot real bad rot and rot can not be fixed. Like I said I know vette if you were to to a proper frame-off on a vette you are looking at $80K to $120k

Have the car inspected by a local Ferrari service center. The mechanic should be able to tell you all the things you don't see. Cost is generally low for one of these quick glance overs.

Ask to see service records, if there are lots of records then the owner was careful to take care of the car and document all of it.

Thanks for you input. The good news is I just read this months Mag ( Forza) on one of the guys looking at and evaluating a 308 Great points made and what to look for. Great article down to earth and the guy did by a nice 308 for $30,000 and he did look at 308 in the price range of $20,000 to $36,000 and he finally decided on the $30,000 one. Later
