I posted before on this forum to get some info for my GTS 1982.
Thanks for the quick and good advice....
I even looked around and found some interesting info on the window motors, they are slow, so i was thinking the motor was at the end.
With the info i read on this forum i chequed the system and found that the main reason is a defauld mass connection, so i add a mass wire and the problem is solved.

I own an 208GTS 1982 rosso with 107000 km on it and just gave it an new paint, it started with some little repaint and ended with a complete paint job, so she is as new again.
I want to add som pictures but dont know how to ad them.
So please give me the way to add them and i post them right away.

Sorry for writing mistakes, this is not my language.

Hello Dr.Bob

Ik woon niet zo ver van u..........
I dont live far away from you, i am from Belgium and the Ferrari came to me trough a friend from Germany who asked me to sell it for him. I made a test drive just for fun and because i had the chance to drive a Ferrari and its like a women, Cupido hit me and right after the testdrive i phoned the guy to make the invoice to me. Next day was my birthday so my wife gave me a paycheque on the morning of my birthday to pay the car.
And maybe it sound stupid but this was the cheapest birthday presence she gave me ever. (our bank account is mutual)
So this was Januari 2001, and today she is still one of my favorit cars.
I just putted her in front of my building just to observe her...(the sun is shinnig).
How do we add more pictures than one at the time?

Welcome to the forum Jags. Nice 208 you have, in beautiful condition! I really like the 208's, especially the Turbo ones.

How do you like the performance of the car? I have always been curious to know how the carbureted 208's perform. One fellow who has a 208 GT4 has mentioned it will accelerate just as fast as a 308, but has a slower top speed (120-130mph). Do you agree with that?

Hello Peter,
This 208 carb. is not fast at all, but this is just the reason i like her. i always cruise with her and never have to prove something because i even loose in acceleration to an Golf TDi.
This keeps me alive....
I have other cars witch are realy fast like a Jaguar V12 6.0 with zetec motormanagement and 400 Hp, an Chervrolet Corvette 1990 and even an Gillet Vertigo witch is in the guiness book of record as the fasted acc. car in the world; 0-100 km/h in 3.266 sec. (attached picture).
So my 208 is making around 200 km/h, is giving an impression to move but then you have to push her in RPM and i d'ont want to do this.
I want to try another 308 or 328 just to feel the difference but with the high risk of beeing flashed by the police over here i have a lot of fun with driving the 208 in the easy way.
