Which is the Greatest Ferrari GT 2+2 of all time and why ?

For what my opinion is worth, I have seen the 456 GT and 365 GTC/4 in Rosso and think they both look much better in the darker colors. My guess is that the larger size of the cars just does not lend it's self to Rosso.

Agree, the August Forza has excellent articles on both the 612 Scaglietti and the original 2+2, the 250 GTE.

The 456 GT would be my first choice, but the 365 GT 2+2 is a close second.

To make things a bit easier, lets split it into two groups:

Vintage - Pre 1973
Modern - Post 1973

My choices are: Vintage - 365 GT 2+2 :green:
Modern - 456 GT

I would also rate the 456 GT as the greatest modern GT 2+2 from any manufacturer. :lol:

Now you've split it - I'm with Dirk too - the GTE is one of my very favourites. Incredibly elegent - and even more incredibly cheap!!!

If I ever convince the Mrs to let me have 2 - I'll be looking for a GTE.

100% in agreement. I would also say it is the best style/body of any GT 2+2 ever with the 928 S4 coming in second.

Enzo250GTO, I am completely with you on the first but would take the 911 Turbo as #2.

Interesting suggestion . I had not considered the Aston. I would probably go with one of the earlier models over the later. I have heard that the later share the same parts bins with Jaguar. How much of a difference is there between the Aston DB7 and the Jaguar XKR ?

Having had a Jag at one point, I will stick very happily with the Prancing Horse. 8)
