I am passively looking at used Ferrari's (specifically 348's and 355's). I am trying to stay within the high 5 digits and looking for a good deal. Does anyone think that these could be good prices for either Ferrari? This is a local dealership that i go to every now and again to drool over the cars (they also sell Maserati's and Aston Martin's)

355 Berlinetta:

348 Challange:

Thanks,

Not a cloue about 355 pricing - but the 348 challenge looks like a fair price. I'm more used to UK pricing - and going by that it looks pretty decent.

Quite an unusual car too - you'll not often find yourself parked next to another one!!!

Have you seen it? Does it have the full challenge pack fitted? I've seen a normal 348tb advertised as a Challenge car before.

I have seen the cars in the steel and it appears to have the full Challange package. I might need to make an excuse and go by and ask the salesman. :eek:ha:

Nothing unusual as far as pricing goes for the 355B. I believe this one has been for sale for awhile.
Generally the Challenge cars are quite a bit cheaper than a nonchallenge. This 348 doesn't seem any cheaper than a nonchallenge 348.

The 348 is priced fairly. I recommend dropping by to see the cars up close. From the photos they both cosmetically look fine. I think the F355 is actually over priced in that ad by about $3,000. Unless the car is perfect inside and out. The F355 has average milage and not low mileage (whereas the 348 is low for its year).

Check it out and let us know if you have more questions after your visit. Welcome to the site and best of luck on your search.

Thanks,
Suggest you check both the Ferrari Market Letter and the NADA Price Guide. They will give you a good idea of both the current pricing and recent trends.
