Recently, the windows on my Dad's 456GT have been acting up. When opening the door, the windows will go down a bit and then reseal, unfortunately during this movement, the windows would go a little off track so that there would be a half inch gap in between the window and the pillar. Basically, the problem was that the window motors weren't keeping the windows on the correct path.

Being a '95 car, you'd think we'd have to pay a fortune to get this fixed....NOPE! Ferrari gladly agreed to fix the car free of charge! The car was sent down to Houston to get worked on and should be here around the first of the year!

I believe they are totally replacing the motors in the windows. This may have been a recall back in '95, though im' not sure.

Regardless, i was surprised at the service.
Yes, I should hope you did get this done for free as it IS a recall item. It isn't a cheap or a quick job either so thankfully it is a recall...
Yeah--

Update: Car has been in Houston for almost two months (!). All parts were installed (physical windows had to be replaced).

But of course, one of the parts failed as they were testing the operation of the driver's side window :x

Looks like it'll be a few more weeks...

(i miss the V-12) :(
