I guess like everyone, you have your own considerations to make - so it would help if you told us a little about what you want it for.

For example - you may need 4 seats. You may want a GT model rather than a pure sports car. You may be on a specific budget. You may want it for just weekend use, or for everyday use.

This sort of thing makes a big difference - so tell us a little about your own thoughts.
A coupe, two seater $40,000-70,000 and RED with a good reliability record.
I have only owned Hondas up to this point. Currently I own an Acura TSX(2.4 VTEC)....
Were did you get your (Acura TSX/Honda Accord DIESEL) here in the USA thats Awesome!!!!!!!!!!! You must be from europe?
Thanks for your guidance 8)
Suggest you take a look at a few models:

328 GTB
348 TB
F355 GTB or GTS

The first 2 will definitely fall within your price range. The 3rd will be at the top end. Suggest you drive all 3 and then see which you prefer.

All make a great first Ferrari. :D
Would agree 100% with boxer.

Just one thing though - I would be careful about setting your heart on red at this stage. Both models are reasonably easy to find - but finding the right one can take a good length of time - and if you find it and it's not red - you may miss the best one you're going to see.

Unfortunately (actually - probably fortunately!) it's not like buying a Porsche where you can specify everything you want and you'll find a bunch of them on the market to your exact specification!!
Per Bazil's comments, I would plan on taking 6-12 months to find the right car.
RacingRED7, There are Buyer's Guides covering all 3 models mentioned above, in the Members Section. They might be helpful in your search.

Congrats and welcome. You must be very excited indeed. What's your budget, only then we can zero in on the model.
Let me know what you get.
Wouldn't mind checking it out.
What part of Kansas are you from?
