Hi fellow prancing horse lovers,
I'm planning to convert my garage to a Ferrari themed space for my 355 and 599.
Need some help....
I want to paint my walls to match the Corsa Rosso colour.
Any idea what's the nearest paint colour or code??

Affirmative, here you go. Use the PPG code 75250. The other common code is FER 322.

i just moved and have a detached unfinished 2-car garage. I would like to finish the garage with a function/form mentality setup for DIY auto work. I'd like to hear others' experiences (what they like and perhaps what they'd do differently). I'll attempt to summarize periodically
The Ferrari Corsa Rosso, also known as Racing Red, is an iconic color associated with the brand. While it's challenging to provide an exact match without physically comparing paint samples, I can suggest a couple of close alternatives that you can consider for your garage walls. Keep in mind that different paint brands may have their own color codes, so it's best to check with your preferred paint supplier for the closest match. Here are a few options:
  1. Benjamin Moore - "Caliente" (AF-290): This vibrant red shade has a similar intensity and warmth to the Corsa Rosso.
  2. Sherwin-Williams - "Heartthrob" (SW 6866): This deep red color has a rich tone that could provide a similar effect to the Corsa Rosso.
  3. PPG Paints - "Red Gumball" (PPG1055-7): This bold red shade has a similar depth and vibrancy to the Ferrari Corsa Rosso.
Remember to request physical paint swatches or sample pots before making a final decision. This will allow you to test the effects of colors in your garage space and ensure they match your vision for the Ferrari-themed atmosphere.

Here are some ideas for a garage to house a Ferrari:
  • Size: The garage should be large enough to accommodate the Ferrari and any other vehicles you may own. It should also have enough space for tools and other equipment you may need to maintain your Ferrari.
  • Climate control: The garage should be climate controlled to protect your Ferrari from the elements. This will help to keep your Ferrari in good condition and extend its lifespan.
  • Lighting: The garage should be well-lit so that you can easily see your Ferrari and work on it.
  • Security: The garage should be secure to protect your Ferrari from theft. This may include installing a security system or a gate.
  • Aesthetics: The garage should be aesthetically pleasing to you. You may want to choose a style that complements your home or your personality.
