Hi all,

I have a quesiton concerning the paddle shifters operation.. OK, let's say you want to up shift, you place your fingers in front of the paddle and you apple force to move the paddle toward you..... Now here is the quesiton, does the tranny shift with the paddle still engaged or do you have to release the paddle to make a shift.......???

It's like a "contact switch", once you pull it towards you it engages. The paddle has a spring that returns it to the rest position the moment you remove your finger. Holding the paddle towards you after the change will not initiate another shift up. And to go up another gear you have to pull the paddle again. The same with the downshift.

to put on reverse, you have to press the buttom indicated on the picture, I guess

that´s a 360 Challenge Stradale

in other Ferraris I´ve seen a lever in the same place, instead of a buttom

That's correct for the Challenge Stradale and the new 430. The 360 F1 have a tiny T-bar located at around the same place as the button you see and to engage "reverse", you lift and pull the lever back.
