Just posted an overview and analysis of Ferrari's Q1 2021 results, issues, and outlook:

Comments? How do you think they are doing? Is an SUV & EV the right move?

Boxer, I think it’s hard for any manufacturer to stay in business if they don’t have an SUV in their lineup. We were at a stop light today, and I pointed out that of the 25-30 cars waiting, ours was the only non-SUV. With the increasing emissions and mileage standards, you need an EV to keep your average down.

They’re inevitable I suppose.

Agree that Ferrari does need an EV but if anyone could avoid an SUV given there long wait list, I think it is Ferrari.

Don’t you think they’d be in the Cadillac situation then?

Hmmm, interesting.

I suppose now that they consider themselves a “luxury” brand, they want to appeal To more types of customer.

I can tell you this, an SUV in their lineup won’t diminish my love for my Spider or 456 one iota.
