Yes. He somehow spun it on the straight at high speed. I can only imagine he must have put a wheel on the grass or something. I didn't see the car afterwards but I was told it wasn't in great shape...

Something like that. Fortunately he didn't hit anything and nor did a 360 that also put the power down a bit too hard coming out of the same hairpin although, as Boxer noted, another 360 was not so lucky.

Thanks. Incidentally, I can now tell you that there were three yellow 328 GTS' made in RHD and no 328 GTBs.

I think all three are pre-ABS.
