Welcome to FLife,

You can buy anything from a key fob to a replica F1 engine depending on your budget.

Best bet is to try the official store and narrow down your options based on your budget

However, if my wife were going to buy me a small gift, something like a pen, scarf, umbrella or cuff links would be gratefully received.

check out our store, we have plenty of Ferrari offerings. All are made from AUTHENTIC Ferrari part numbers. If there's something you are interested in as far as official merchandise goes, we do have a wholesale purchasing status with AUTOart, SPEEDGEAR and a few others.

http://www.racechairs.com/category_s/1.htm

use code "ferlife" and receive 10% off of your order

Depending on your budget and his likes/dislikes I think good quality books are always right to give. But, it is hard to know what book covers what interests.

for mille 162...thank u but it really seems too expensive to me...

i've been looking on ebay..but i dont' know if they are official products...

bit confused :(
Official products are expensive....and over rated. Take two identical laptops. One with a ferrari badge and one with out, £1000 different because its an official product. When ever i am in Maranello and visit any shop including the Ferrari store. I have to contain myself from rolling on the floor laughing my ass of. I have even seen a 355 brake pedal mounted on a piece of wood.....£700:yikes::yikes: They cost less that £100 to buy. I will sell you my real Ferrari brake pedal mounted on a bit of wood for £300....now thats a deal:D
There are official products on ebay by the way, and more cheaper than buying from an official Ferrari shop. I mean we owners have no problem in buying brand new spares for our Ferraris from ebay.

hahahahah...very, very true!

BTW www.exoticar.com has a lot of Ferrari stuff too! :steeringwheel:

It's best to call them for a catalog 1-800-348-9159, where you'll find a very nice selection of Ferrari stuff!
...only 8 more days.

watch ebay, lots of knock-offs. If the price is too good to be true, it probably is.

We're an authorized AUTOart and SPEEDGEAR.com reseller, if there's something in one of those cataloges you'd be interested in, let me know and I can quote you a price and add it to the order. Speedgear carries official licensed merchandise and has a ton of Ferrari offerings.

Well thats a wide spread and general comment to say. And very wrong to say just because you sense some one rather green to buying Ferrari merchandise. And you seek an opportunity;)
Many official Ferrari merchandise is sold on ebay at bargain prices from clothes to Ferrari Luggage. There are knock ofs yes if you are green and dont know what to look for. Thats part why we have forums.
You also say
licensed merchandise and has a ton of Ferrari offerings.[End Quote] So when you say "a ton of Ferrari offerings", i assume that they to are not Licensed merchandise either but the kind of gear you say sells on ebay?;)

I think it's exactly the thing I should say here. She doesn't know where to shop or where to buy and is asking for suggestions. If you type in "Ferrari clothing" a ton of knock-off stuff, many with fake tags and COA's are all ebay and online stores. Being "green", she'd probably assume they were legitimate and never know. If she wants to buy something official, not being an expert, she should stick to established authorized dealers.

Someone posted a link to ebay auctions for a jacket that's 1/2 the price of what's in the store. Having access to the wholesale pricing from Ferrari's official line, I can tell you they're sellilng that jacket below purchase cost. If it's a single individual or clearance inventory, ok that's understandable. But when it's a professional seller on ebay and they have more than one item available, I become very suspcious. Not saying they're definatley fake, but you have to ask yourself how did they get these so cheap and why can they sell them for less than authorized dealer cost.

How do I know there's such a huge problem with fakes? I've had conversations with FNA, MNA, and others about this and if it doesn't come from an official licensed retailer, it's almost definatley fake. Had a long conversation with Stephan Winkleman about Lamborghini's problems with this specificallly at Exotic Cars Las Vegas in Caesars Palace. He considered them one of the worst offenders. They claimed to be authorized retailer, to have official gear, and you'd think that store front in an establishment like a casino and around all of those other shops, that they'd be legit. They werent. It was all knock-offs and they were sued and are now out of business.

Am I looking for "an opportunity"? Not at all, I offered to add her order to my next order with wholesale pricing. I was willing to pass along my cost because I have to place a certain $ figure to get the order shipped. This is an open offer to everyone on the forum and once the holidays are past us, I'll be posting an official thread with the offer.

Not wanting to get into the middle of a scrap here, but I know from my on line banking the wife has treated me to over 500 euros worth of Ferrari gear for Christmas at an officially licensed outlet, and personally would have been very happy for someone to have added the items to their wholesale list. Good effort if its legit.

i found lot of cheap products on ebay..but don't really think they are original.

at the end i bought this jacket http://www.merchandisingplaza.com/a...497&nome=Ferrari Puma F1 Pit Crew Team Jacket.

i contacted this website and they assured me that all F1 products are licensed.
