Hi,

Anyone that wants to do some forecasting. I will put down a nice map with two decks of cards (of course with Ferrari image!) and one set of dices for the winner. Anyone that wants to donate anything else, please do and winner gets first choice!

Rules are quite simple: Try to forecast the points finishes per race and also the man on pole position.

In case two people will have the same number of points after the season, the Monaco GP will be the tiebreaker, followed by the US GP and Monza. Should be enough to make a difference!

Pole position right means 5 points. Rest of the points awarded are the same number of points the driver gets for his position. So, forecasting the top three gives you more points than number 8 (single point)!

No points will be awarded for close rankings!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here we go for my list of Australia:
Pole: Montoya
Race winner: M. Schumacher
runner-up: Raikkonen
3rd place: Montoya
4th place: Coulthard
5th place: Trulli
6th place: Fisichella
7th place: Barichello
8th place: Verstappen

If Schumacher wins, I will get 10 points. If he finishes 2nd, I will get ZERO! If Raikkonen wins, ZERO points will be awarded, if he finishes 2nd, I will get 6 points. And so on, and so on...

Nice idea ?? Or any other intersting rules?

Sorry, have to get used to the new rules :) If Raikkonen finishes second I will be awarded with 8 points and NOT 6 as mentioned before.

Hi chaps

Just an idea...

What about a scoring system where you choose 10 drivers and you get a point for each one who finishes in the top 8. It means that midfield drivers are as important as those who are in front. And I think we have a very good idea who will be infront....

Well,

Possible, but then only eight drivers. But still I think this one is easier as well. The points scorers are often the same as well. I think it is harder to predict the exact place then to predict many points scorers.

Well, a bit of chauvinism here, but remember last year when Webber finished fifth? If Minardi wants to score some points thiis year, my best guess it will be in the first half of the season because many teams might not get their act together yet. Plus the fact that they opted for the Friday! Well, we will see what happens...

I am pretty sure I got the points right: You only had one driver (6th place) right plus pole and thus 8 points

I only had 5th place right and hence 4 points.
