How do you go about getting a tour of the factory? Do you have to be an owner? Does anyone know who the person is to contact to set this up?

Factory tours can be arranged through either your local official Ferrari dealer or Ferrari Owners Club.

All over the world. Any Ferrari dealer should be able to arrange the tour.

I heard that you had to be an owner and provide your VIN. Is that true? I ask because my friend who does not own a Ferrari is planning a trip to Italy and wanted to visit the factory.

NO - This is not true, but you do have to book in advance.
