Each to his fancy. There are a lot of very old cars I dont like and wouldnt consider a classic and there are some newer cars thatr I would. In Pennsylvania a car can be registered as a classic after 15 years and an Antique after 20 years.

Correct that 25 years, for antique in Pa.Use to be 10 for classic and 20 for Antique here and they had to change it due to all the old rust bucket mustangs and camaro's clanking down the road.In Pa. a classic needs no emmission test and a antique needs no emmissions and no inspection sticker.Thats the incentive to due it. Plus you dont pay an annual renewal on either tag.A one time fee to register only.They also require pictures at time of registration due to all the abuses.

No they got it . Your thinking of Deleware. A lot of people buy cars there and drive em up and fudge the purchase price when registering here.From Phila to Deleware state line is about 15-20 minutes.
