Hi ..

Which car would you guys choose?

I would take the Ferrari 575M Black/Black With Manual Transmission, Scuderia Shields, Black Daytona Seats With Yellow, Black Rims with Goodyear Eagle F1 Tyres and Yellow Calipers with "Ferrari" in Black.

Does any of you have one of these?

Cheers

I wish I had one, but no I don't. Bart has a 550. But if I had to choose between the 575 or 550, I would obviously choose the 575. Red over tan, F1, Scuderia Shields, Daytonas. Oh lots of good stuff.

Dunno if you count the 550 barchetta, but damn, that one would be it time and time again. If we're talking fixed tops, then offcourse 575 M. Same lines, but faster, and F1 gears :D

Yeah, the 550 Barchetta Pininfarina is the most elegant car manufactured in the past decade. Otherwise, I too would get the 575M with the F1 gearbox. I would opt for Azzurro California, Blu Tour de France, or Rosso Rubino for the exterior and I favor a cream-colored leather.

I would disagree, been searching for a mint 550 for the past 6 months (and still am :-( ), and a 575M would not do it for me. Better looking interior but I don't like the headlights and the front bumper design. The 550 looks sharper in my opinion.
F1 box is a no-go for me for a car like this, I like it for what it is on my 355 but the manual box is much more in the spirit of a grand tourer like the Maranello.
Aside from the tactile involvement aspect of this, I'd be worried how fast 575M F1 clutches get fried by the box, considering that the car, unlike 355's and 360's, has loads of low end torque.

Have you checked the DuPont Registry for that 550? www.dupontregistry.com

I had not, but it won't help me much, thanks for the tip anyway.
I am in Switzerland, buying a swiss car, in the dealer network, with a Ferrari warranty. Too risky otherwise.
There are loads of cars in the US, but the prices are at least a good 10% higher than here, even with the US$ being at its lowest since a long time.

Yeah, that's true. Switzerland is a completely different market than here. I don't know of any dealers in Switzerland, but I will look.
