Hi Guys,

I was wondering if anyone had a list of any changes that were made to the Modena from Year-to-Year? Perhaps they added some new stuff or better parts as the car got older to cater to owner's requests?

I think this is a great question and one I have thought about several times. I just purchased a 2000 360, is there a difference that anyone knows of between the 99 and todays model?

The cam variator. Changed from year 2000 model.

The gearbox ECU was changed from the 2001 model year.

The front A-arm was changed from the 2002 model year.

Can't think of others though.

So the cam variator was changed FOR the 2000 model from 99?
I'm assuming the ECU change was for the F1 models.

There are more changes from 99 onward:

1. Variators were re-designed and replaced in 2001, a service note was issued in April of 2001.
2. Starter ring gear in 2001
3. F1 TCU
4. Bearings and seals in manual trannys were updated in 2001 and then again in 2004.
5. I heard but not confirmed that 2001 and up have quiter mufflers
6. 2000 and up engine bay trays
