The battery "jumper terminals" is in the engine bay on the right side. You have to remove the black steel cover plate by removing the 3 screws, then you'll find the terminals. The positive terminal is marked red, unless your previous owner has resprayed the engine bay.
That is the proper way of jump-starting your car. The battery is located in the front right fender just behind the headlights and you have to remove the wheel and the dust cover of the front right fender before you can access the battery. You only do this when you have to change the battery. And BTW the battery has to be the dry charge type.
