I am contemplating ordering a set of the factory safety harnesses for my Stradale. Do holes neet to be drilled for mounting?
Welcome to Ferrari Forum. The dealer will be able to install them (I'm assuming that is where you are buying them from). Doing it yourself is also an option and shouldn't be too hard.

No drilling will be required, the harnness will go on same bolts that the seats use to attach to the floor.

Let us know if you decide to get them.

As i understand things, the lap belts would replace the stock lap belts and use the stock bolts.

As for the shoulder harnesses, you would NOT want to use the bottom seat bolts as this would greatly COMPRESS your back during a collision and, thereby, possibly causing someone to be paralyzed for life(!). Shoulder harness should have, as i recall, at most a 30 degree angle downward from perpendicular to the seat harness openings on the back of the seat.

See Schroth website as they have GREAT information.

The 4-point harness cannot be retro-fitted. It's stated in the "option list" when you order the car. There are certain reinfircements that's built into the firewall and this has to be done during production time. But any racing shop will fit you one but not the original Ferrari outfit. :-?
