Ill give you my opinion but take it with a grain of salt being that I have never driven either of the cars.
I think the general concensus is that the GT3 is more of an engineering masterpiece than anything else. Race worthy, yes, but its design is not all out performance. The GT3 is marketed for the buyers in between the standard 911 and the GT2 or carrera gt.
My impression is that the 360's racing heratige is more obvious than in the Porsche. Ive heard complaints like gitteryness ... again wouldnt know first hand. As far as resale value you have some time before the 360 gets another big hit. It took a huge hit when the 430 hit the market and maybe another when the 'potential' 430 CS gets anounced/arrives, but otherwise you can expect steady resale. Not so much with the Porsche I think. Consider the fact, also, that the GT3 is half the price to begin with.
