I have 1996 f355 with wheel caps I purchased new 5 months ago as replacements for the original. I purchased them OEM from RICAMBI

Within 6 months these have now cracked.

Any ideas why they do not last.???

Where are you....Are there thermal issue's involved? There is a guy in the classified section of Ferrari Club of America that sells custom inlaid ones. Scroll down to the Misc Section. You might ask him about cracking issues or get a set from him. Perhaps he will warrantee.

Tell him about you buddies at FerrariLife. If his work is good, maybe we can support him a little.

F355 Wheel caps

Thank you for your response

I live in Florida...wonder if heat has anything to do with cracking. Car is never tracked.

Things to ponder:

Are they factory wheels?
Is it possible that wheel flex in a non factory wheel could compress the disc?
Do you corner hard enough for that to be an issue?
Are the disc's snug or tight?
could they have been flex'd in shipping or installation?
Can Ricambi help?

I've got nothing else
