BAR is beatung it's chest again. But to be fair they did a very good job in 2004. I think they'll be ahead of McLaren and Williams again, now that Honda is a partner as well as engine supplier>

I think that FERRARI will win of course in 2005 too, but with a little bit more hard work (think about McLaren (our enemy) with Montoya (don't love him) and Raikkonen (frozen man)) I think also an opponent will be Sato with Batton wich will try to calm down Montoya with Raikkonen. I prognose such a result:
1 FERRARI
2 McLaren
3 BAR
4 Williams
5 Renault
6 Toyota
But FERRARI will never leave the top 3 list. NEVER!!!!

I'm still having very good dreams about that era.

And now the first race is over... and a lot of people will be very glad. I know the qualifying shook things up a bit... but even you people must agree that ferrari did not put up a good fight. Fair or unfair? I'm not getting into that... the result speaks for itself.

Gee, Ferrari (RB) started in 11th place and ended in second. Yea, you are right. Ferrari just did not do well.

Well, it was to be expected, the F2004M has been "slow" all winter
it was already painfully obvious that the other teams have caught up.
And with Ferrari beeing the only real team on Bridgstone's doesn't help them either

In Todt's interview in Pitpass, he reckons that Ferrari could have used a "softer" compound for the race. Seeing how quick Rubens was closing at the end, it would have made a difference if Ferrari had gone for that. Because of that Todt thinks there's very hope for future away races!!

U all R Right but This race Ferrari did very well.... If they will do second every race they will win the championship..... To be first do not mean to be champion... Michael said that do become a champion it is not necesarry to winn it is necesary to be in front of second...

I'm sorry... but what nonsense. Only on ferrari did pretty well. Barrichello eventually ended up being second... but that will not win him the championship if Fisichella wins every race. And schumacher was doing lousy during the race. I don't care if he could have raced on a softer compound... he was doing lousy laptimes and he was not advancing through the field. And then there was the fact that he killed off Heidfeld... what was up with that? Seems to me that as soon as schumacher can't win... he has to resort to cheating... that's just plain pathetic...

Again... just my 2 cents

I'm sorry to dissapoint U but Fishikella will not win every race, even a couple of them.... Schummi failded in the last year too some races but he became champion.... U see Ferrari is not a power only because they have a best car and a best racer, but because they are a really team... This race was good enought... in my oppinion... for the future...

This was a very nice race. Wasn't even necessary to crash schumacher out this time. He sucked on his own merits. Very, very nice

Good competition is always good for the championship. This will definetly be very good.

YEs, but my guess is that it will take two races to get the car fully sorted. I expect that we will see the true impact of the 2005 F1 car starting with the Spanish GP.
