Today when I was walking to work I saw a 612 at the stop light. It looked like Azzuro but a bit darker.

Anyways, after a second look I think this car looks more agressive from the front that photos show. The nose was very low and seemed lower that the 360 Modena's. The guy did rev it a bit and I found the sound to be more audible than the 550.

Overall my impression of the car has gone up after today. Still not the classic look of the 456, but a wonderful 2+2 Ferrari.

The 612 is an interesting design. My guess is it will end up similar in fate to the 412. Polarizing bodywork but impressive performance under the skin.

My friend took delivery of his Scaglietti two weeks ago. Rubyno with biege interior. The car doesn't look as bad as the pics though.

I have not seen one in the flesh, but i think it looks kinda weird!

Maybe going to see one will change my mind.. Not that there is any here yet (to my knowledge)

I had the same feelings when it came out as most...not that impressed. But, upon walking into the dealership and seeing the factory demo, I was more impressed. The only thing I disliked about the demo was their color choice...Grigio Ingrid with a blue interior. I really, really, really dislike blue interiors. Had it of been a natural or tan...that would have been real nice. I also noticed one other thing...the back seat. Specifically the leg room, or lack thereof. It was pretty tight so it seems like the back is for the kids only, or some extra luggage. But...overall, I do like it. Still the 456 would be my choice of the two as of right now though.

When I saw the 612 for the first time in real, I thought: "oh my god 8) "

I agree with Dirk on the lighter color. At the historic event at Laguna Seca they had a dark green 612 and it doesn't show the curve at all. Yesterday the light blue looked stunning on the car. In traffic next to other cars it really looked good.

no offense but Clarkson had the headlights on most of the time to distract our eys away from the car.

I realy wonder of all the touring cars, why he picked that one.
