I am looking for some advice on traveling in europe from you guys if possible. I am planning a trip to France and Switzerland at the end of September and ideally I want a way to find all the ferrari dealers/specialists on route to my destination (incase the worst happens eh).

Also does anyone have any advice on hotels to stay at on route... we are traveling from Calais to Champagne - Champagne to Geneva - Geneva to Lyon - Lyon to Le Mans - Le mans to Calais.

Also looking for nice hotels in these regions.. so if anyone knows of some good places let me know.

Thanks for all your help

yes Boxer, you're right, beware within 10 km before each toll, they have gun radar and they're waiting for you at the toll. Up 190 Km/h, if you're the only driver with licence in the car, you won't be able to continue with it. Sometime they could also have two motorbikes on the side (anywhere) and one of the policeman has the gun radar and then they run after you. You can easily leave them behind with a Ferrari but I don't recommand it... There's alway a toll at the end and sometime helicopter is around... The last danger is white french car (body is break) with a 25cm' black glass on left side of the licence plate wich is a inboard radar but such vehicule are very rare, if you see a car in the other way doing hight light, that means there's police further. It works a lot that way even on highway. French goverment fight against dead on the road and it become very hard with fast car, likely you won't pay attention to flash radar on the side of the road because they won't send you the tickets in England. Have a nice drive in France.

What happened to the days when you could enjoy driving in France? Have they become revenue Nazi's?

Thanks Guys

Thanks for your advise, those police are bunch of See you next tuesday's. I was looking for a little right toe action but it seems I better avoid the law at all costs. I was watching the european cannonball the other daya and one guy got arrested and fined £7000 for doing 193 mph in a porsche. Thats just wrong!!!

Thanks again guys.

Next post is gonna be about learning to tame the beast!
