Cool outfit! I keep telling myself I shoul dget a suit but keep looking around for good deal. You are ready for track day my man... When are you heading out to the track?
Best prices on Suits, even with a bad exchange rate, is Demon Tweeks in England. I bought all of my racing items, Sparco Gloves, Shoes, karting suit, ect from them. Service was great and shippin wasn't anything. I also had bought a Sparco Rev Fiberglass seat from them back in 92 and when everything was factored into the price it still was cheaper than buying it here in the US.

But I bought my Bell Carbon/Kevlar helmet through a friend who was a dealer. Needless to say I did save some money there but not as much as you'd think. Never skimp on your helmet. Your heads the only one you have. Arms break, they heal. Heads, mmmmm..... not so much.
Entire outfit (minus the shoes). This means the Sparco Fashion 5 suit, Nomex balaclava, Nomex sock, Sparco collar, Bell M2 helmet, team bag to store it all, etc.

WOW, you are right that Demon Tweeks has some deals., But not OVERLY SO as i got a good package deal from Wine Country Motor Sports in Florida (866) 320-3278. Still waiting for the Sparco X-Pro gloves as they are back ordered :(

Agreed about the helmet. This is also why i got a collar. Seems some folks "forget" about them :(

Am preparing for 2005. Have decided i could do some more testing for 2004, yet she will be fully updated to a better extent and tweaked for the 2005 season. This winter i may install a more durable clutch and light flywheel.

The first step to recovery is admitting it. You're 1/2 way there....wait I'm a dork too.

Steven...very cool I think with all the 308 upgrades and now this you are clearly ready. Any other last minute suprises that UPS might be dropping off in the next few weeks?
Time to put them to use, eh enjoythemusic. Enjoy. :D

Just the new Brembo brakes and Kinesis K27 rims... oh, and set of Mich Pilot PS2 tires. Then this winter might be new DURABLE clutch and light weight flywheel. Well, that's all for now, but am sure i can think of more things next week... just give me time ;-)

Dang! Almost have a meeting going here.
Spasso,

Now that you showed up I think it has offically started. We were waiting on the president :green:

PS: I never knew Hans Solo said that about the 308. I'd have to agree with him.

In the first movie the Millennium Falcon was looked down upon as an outdated hunk of junk but with surprising performance. Even though the 308 isn't the latest and the greatest, performance of a 308 isn't surprising, and the technology is outdated it still gets out moves pretty good.

The analogy just hit me out of the blue. ....................................strange how the mind works.
