Dear Guys, here in Germany Dino's at the Moment worth about 350 k EUR and the GTS is about 400 K. Perfect restored cars passed already the half Million.
I remember at the End of the 80ies when the F 40 was established the Dinos went up from 20 K DM to 200 K DM. At this time most of the Dinos got quick restaurations only for selling purpose.
I bought mine mid of the 90ies and after 3 month I had a heavy Crash. I went with over 200 km/h into the middle barrier at the famouse German " Autobahn"
Whe we rebuilt the car we also found it in a very bad condition under a quick selling Restauration.
Now the cars which are sold are mainly bought by guys which have to take out their black Money from the Banks in Switzerland, Liechtenstein aso and also many Russian guys coming over to buy These cars.
I've got already some offers "cash Money" but my Dino in Russia .... There is no way !
Another reason of the high Prices is the complex Frame Technologie.
I add some pics of my Restauration ( it takes about 4 Years and finished in 2001).
By the way, on one pic you can see the Body Wood Frame of an BMW 328 Mille Miglia Coupe. The car built on this wooden Frame is now in the BMW Museum.

Scott, don't know all of the stories, but a little disappointing final for Keith's beautiful Dino GTL. My understanding was the non matching motors and gearbox ?

Either way, seems like there's a lot for sale there. Not a good sign at all IMHO.

Engine out, heads turned around, body rough at best ... this is the proverbial basket case flushing out when prices rise
Curious phrase "near rust free" which sounds like weasel words to me

JD Classics bought that 246 GTS #06716 at the Bonham auction at the Goodwood Festival of Speed last June for £261,900 and restored it but that is some jump in price to £444,750. I very much doubt the restoration work they have carried out came close to £75,000.

I think this would be very public spirited of me as clearly my investment would then fall in value.
