I did get a response from Dane. He is bummed out that his Ferrari is gone but he just wasn't using it enough to justify keeping it. He has a baby on the way and of course those things put a great constraint on your time. So with the car gone it frees him up both with time and $$.

Quite a mature decision actually. I think in the same situation I would stamp my feet and yell "NO NO NO!! IT'S MINE!!" and then go pout.

Yes, she's gone. Please don't remind me...I vow to have another one before my heart calls it quits...

The car is certainly at a good home, though! Congratulations, SG!!

P.S. Any thoughts about a Ferrari SUV? i.e. the Porsche Cayenne? :green:

AARRGGGGHHHH
SHAME ON YOU DANE
NO Ferrari SUV
besides even Montezemelo has said as long as he is in control there will never be a Ferrari SUV, that's why they have Maserati.
same with the quatroporte

Besides, i don't really like the Cayenne, i find the Touareg better looking

Dirk,

Yes, I thought I may get some grief over that one!! I am still surprised that Porsche made the leap. I thought that is why they have VW!

Didn't Ferrari already supply the engine for a SUV back in the 90's?
LaForza seems to come to mind.
