Oh that's only a superficial damage. It'll be fixed in no time. I only hope there an appointed repairer that know how to repair carbon fibre damage.

I must say driving a LHD sports car in a RHD road especially a country road is a nightmare. I drove the Enzo through traffic on a 3-lane highway and the car is just so broad that it's difficult to judge, especially its rear.

I would say those pics are more embarassment than damage.

When the owner of the yellow Enzo in Greensboro needed to back out of the parking space he was in, he asked me to guide him because he said it was extremely difficult to see the rear of the car. But, he said going forward was just fine. So I guess Ferrari meant for the Enzo to be going forward all the time and never backwards.

oh well, that's just body damage, nothing too bad, so did he hitted the bus or what?

and this reminds me of something.
i was talking to a porsche mechanic a few weeks ago and he said that they are not allowed to work on the CGT, they have to send it back to germany, well the factory comes and picks it up on a 1 car trailer. same thing with the GT1 (they have the only GT1 in Belgium) they aren't allowed to work on it not even servicing it, has to go back to the factory. to be able to work on the CGT they need some new equipment and new skills (the guy is already working at porsche a bit over 20 years).

so now i'm wondering how about the Enzo. can our local dealers work in it? in case of crash like this, not even to much damage, do they need to send the car back to italy?

Well...Foreign Cars Italia works on the yellow one here. That's just the servicing and minor stuff like brake repairs and replacement. They said if any body damage were to occur, it would need to be sent back to Maranello. But...that was here. Another dealership may be able to do the work in house.

I agree, everyone here was like, no big deal, I'm thinking....damn! Be more careful with 1.2 million dollar cars.
Well yeah....that one does hurt to look at, but it is still not as bad as this one...

I am sure it will show up at Maranello in Egham for repairs shortly.

Superficial or not it's still painful to look at.

if you can buy it then you can afford to get it fixed again

and besides you should race the hell out of it, that's what it's been build for

The one that completely burnt down in Houston is still the worst. Anybody got any pics of that one?

Look at this:

The driver of this enzo lost control while overtaking a bus. As far as I know, this is the 4th enzo that has been wrecked.

Near Botley in New Forest, Hampshire, United Kingdom, December 10, 2004
This accident was reported in the Sun, a UK daily!

TYCOON Frank Mountain loaned a pal the keys to this £420,000 Ferrari Enzo - and it crashed seconds later.
The 217mph car, one of 399 made, hit a Wilts and Dorset bus then a VW Golf.

No one was injured. But fed-up Frank, a land agent who lives in the New Forest, is facing a five-figure repair bill.

so FINALLY i know what happened here it was a guy from Top Gear that was driving during the crash, the owner was sitting next to him because of a lisght problem with his drivers license
and there where on their way to a photoshoot where the that owner was also picking up his brand new Maser MC12
Top Gear was doing a duo test of them
luckelly just 3 hours after the crash the owner still let them use his BRAND NEW NEVER DRIVEN BEFORE MC12 and the "spare" Enzo of Nick Mason

so in other words, get the February issue of Top Gear
oh yes, they also show some close-up shots of the damaged enzo, man, even the back is cracked up
