Who was it that was looking for a convertible Testarossa?

I drove by one today on my way to work. It was parked in an auto body lot. Black with gold centercaps on the wheels and possibly gold badges. Didn't look like it was in too good of shape. I'm thinking about stopping by for the sake of curiosity and get some kind of story on it. I'll be sure to try and get a serial number as well for those interested.

I agree with Dr. Bob. The car is not from the factory but is an aftermarket conversion. The car was never offered as this (not even a prototype).

Looking forward to hearing more about the car.

A few years ago I saw a red Testarossa Convertable. I even think i have a picture of it. But i don't know where it is.

I think i saw the car at the Ferrari days in Spa (Belgium). But I think it was a Official car, not an aftermarket conversion.

Car is no longer there. :( It wasn't a body shop as I first thought. It was just a run of the mill repair shop. The car had appeared to be in very poor shape when I was driving by it (paint and top in bad bad condition - "gold" was fading) and somthing tells me it was there for a "tune up" or some type of repair. I might go poke arround tomorrow and see if they'll talk to me. Get SOME kind of story on it.
