No suggestions on carpeting, but wanted to compliment you on your username.

It brings to mind a very visual image of animal offal flying through the air!!! :yikes:

Well done; Rabbie wad be proud o' ye.

Many thanks.
As with most good ideas it was born out of a night of too much beer.
Several members of the team likened our chances of winning to being the same as seeing said mystical beastie flying. But as we all know they sort of glide more than fly.

Can't be of much help here. If you were thinking of cutting your own from a roll of carpet then I have found Woolies Trim to be a very helpful supplier. They would supply edging as well and you could model the new on your old ones. Easy for me to say !
"Practical Classics Restoration Show" on 12-13 April at the NEC will no doubt have various suppliers present.

Hi '348 Jeff'

PCLL -> You redid all the carpet or just 2 overmats
Assume they have template or they had one for RHD-348 ?

KRLL -> Do they have templates ?

thks
Ive just done the mats so far but encouraged by the results intend to do the whole car.

I made a pattern out of cereal packets based upon the original mats then place the pattern in the car and either trimmed or added bits of card to it until I was happy with the fit - which is a bit different from the original! for example I don't like the way the originals overlap the accelerator surround so have narrowed that strip down. Once I was happy with my modified template I just used that to cut the carper out.

Ice actually returned the pieces I cut back to them to have the edges bound and the heel plates bound and sewn on. Should get them back later this week so will post up pics when done :)

I dint put latches/rings on mine (but they do sell them if you want) as they stay put anyway.

I reckon they cost me getting for £100 but I had enough carpet to make 2 sets if I/ wanted.

Just started doing my door cards yesterday...
