I have read here that the cambelt idler tensioners (or their bearings?) should be changed as a matter of course when doing the belts themselves.
Checking the price of these (the whole units), they aren't a small $ item (say AU$1000 fitted) on a 3.2 engine. The Ferrari shop claim that they are pretty robust on the 3.2 and don't generally get replaced, but what opinions can everyone give me? Bearing in mind that if the belts themselves are to be changed every 24 months as per the manual then that is a lot of new tensioners over time.
