Dear Ferrariowners,

I am very interested in buying a Mondial Cabriolet -86 or -87. I think I have a pretty good picture of the price range these cars are in. What I do not know is what to look for and what to avoid when buying one. I have with great interest read some posts on this forum about the reliability of these cars, some say it is good and some have real horrorstories to tell. Who should I believe? Another interesting question is about service, maintenance and spare parts. Do you "have" to have your car serviced and maintained by a Ferrari dealer or is it possible to have it serviced by a garage that have very good credentials in general. I am also very interested in finding out about where to buy spare parts to "reasonable" prices. Can someone give me a clue to if there are any "unauthorized" spare parts dealers in Europe, or do I have to buy from official dealers?

I would be very grateful for helpful advice :D

Kind regards
