Last week my eldest son and I drove the Boxer across a fair bit of Europe, covering about 6-700 miles in total. The route was from Northern Spain, up through Basque country into Bordeaux, and then up the western part of France to Caen. Most fun I have ever had in a car. The car performed exceedingly well, in both good and messy weather. We did not have a single problem and the longer we were on the road, the stronger the engine seemed to become. Handling and response at speed was exceptional. The car did gather a bit of attention on the road but it was all friendly. Overall there seemed to be a general appreciation and respect for the mid 70's Classic (even when being overtaken by it).

Can't wait to bring it back out again in the spring.

Hi Boxer42, Thanks for sharing your drive-out with us here.
I think the both of you have a very nice dayout with the Boxer and there must be a lot of fun in that car. And some attention is a must for that good looking car of you, and I'm sure that will be alway's the case.
BTW. nice picture's you made, I special like picture no. 1 it look's like a wall paper.very nice.
It's good to hear that your car did his best very well on the road and bring you safely home. For me I alway's admire the looks of the Boxer started by the 365 till the 512 BB, maybe that's why I drive a 308GTB.
Regards 308ROB :D

i love the boxer. One my all time faves. Especially the two tone colour scheme.

The late seventies/early eighties was all about the Countach and the Boxer. Whenever i see any of these two cars on the road or video i still go..

Phwoar...

Now that's saying something.
