I am wondering what people have done to bring the performance of their injected 308's up. In my experience, and research, I've found that the Bosch K- Jetronic FI sysytem can be made to perform better by increasing the bore of the throttle body (increase mixture, etc, etc). Has any one done this to their 308i? Any other performance enhancers out there? Thanks in advance...
What about after-market exhausts? I have seen people carry on about Tubis, etc, but maybe this is only effective if you are removing converters in those markets that allow that sort of thing.
What about cam timing / lift? Just a thought, as the "stock" engines are very tractable and could probably handle wilder cam profiles. There have been a number of road-rally / etc 308s in the past, so maybe some hotter camshafts cxan be sought based on those cars. It's always a trade-off vs ease of use & reliability, however.
