you would have to be nutz to attempt to cut corners like this when servicing your ferrari! If you cant afford to do it as ferrari designed it to be done, then go buy a corvette. Just an observation.

I dont need such opinion and I dont think it is the way to think of this forum....Maybe you have more money than me but it is not a reson to think you are the best, you drive a car and only know how to turn the key...when there is a problem you run to ferrari stor....it is a way to do...not mibne I prefer to knwo what I have and how it is done...not only a question of money...dont want your corvette I bought a 355...

It is not a question of cutting corners. It is a different, in this case easier, way of accomplishing the same task. In many ways it is better not to take the engine out of the car. This is why Ferrari designed the 360 so that the belts could be changed more easily without removing the engine.

Good to know there seems to be an altenative for replacing the cam belt, which does not require a motor removal.
Where can I get the pictures of the procedure.
