A couple of days ago I wrote a post and called my Ferrari 'him/her/it' not really knowing if it was male or female. At home it's male, my son calls our 328 'Freddy' and it's a he. Technically speaking linguists would say all cars are feminine in the latin based languages so that would also follow for Ferrari's.
I'm still unsure, I agree that for their style and beauty they should be female after all that's why we red blooded males fall in love with them when we are young kids, and we pamper them like a beautiful woman. However, for their aggresive features and power they should be male
After all if you track your Ferrari and thrash it in the high rev band, you wouldn't treat a beautiful woman like that (or maybe you would given the chance
)
Is their sex dependent upon the model and how you use them? eg: F40 track racer - Male, but a 360 garage queen - Female?
I'm looking forward to seeing your opinions and comments.
