Hi folks,
I'm happy Andrew pointed his web-site out to me. Great job, Andrew! I quit Ferrarichat.com due to the hostilities and off-topic conversations. I hope we can keep away from that here! I'm fortunate to have a 77 308GTB; please take a look in the gallery section. Andrew was nice enough to post photos for me. I'm moving from Hawaii to North Carolina in August. Anyone from the area? Also, 308 lovers can take a look at Ferrari308.com. It's a great site with a great manager in Paul Green. Thanks again, Andrew.

Thanks for the kind words. It is a little harder to join my site now than when you joined. Members wishing to join will have to provide a real e-mail and activate their account through an e-mail link. I'm hoping this wil cut down on rogue users. I'm also willing to delete all post that are junk. Of course its inevitable that some assholes will find their way here but I think we can manage it. As the site grows I can and will make other members Moderators which will have the ability to edit and delete post.

I used to be very active on F-Chat as well until the nonsense began to really get out of hand. Unfortunately, it seems as if certain individuals were recently signing on to F-Chat just to cause hate and discontent.

It's great to have a site like this one where things are more Ferrari oriented, and the members are mature!

Same goes here. Let's hope it does. Andrew actually provided me a detailed description of the quality control measures implemented to keep the standards acceptable. My thanks continue to go out to Andrew for his hard work in making this site for us to use. It's amazing how information can flow, connections can be made and friendships developed from a forum such as this. Heck, I just found out that Barry's from NC and was jazzed about me moving there. It's nice for me to come here and see other Ferrari enthusiasts as I don't have others close that share the same feelings. Yes, they like and respect Ferrari but don't care to hear about it every day. Forza, Dane

Dear Mr Sander,

I thought of joing Fchat awhile back, but I did notice a bit of hostility amongst some of its members. Since I adore Ferrari, road cars as well as the formula one effort, and of course the history of the marque. I was looking to find a group of enthusiasts that I could discuss and learn from. Even though I do not own a Ferrari as of yet, I have had the pleasure to have driven a few. That only increased my obsession for the prancing horse!!!

For both: Yes, I think this site is on it's way to being a positive experience for all. The moment that someone gets tired of talking about these cars is the time when he/she can make a calm exit. Those left over will be the real enthusiasts. I'm in it for quality and not a quantity of users; although, a combination of the two is more than fine with me!

Keep that up Dane and your going to fill up all my space on the server faster than I can buy it :lol: But I agree. If you want a ton of photos check out Dirk's site www.ferrariphoto.net He was kind enough to let me use some of the photos here on this site and I have a few wallpapers made from his photos I need to post.

More than likely, I'll be working the area surrounding Raleigh but living closer to Fayetteville. Do you think you'd ever make your way down? Barry told me the NC roads are very Ferrari friendly; is SC any different?

There is still plenty of room to upload and extra is like $10/month for 100mb (I think). The problem was I changed the file size for the wallpapers and then messed up when I changed it back.
