there is a malfunction indicator light on my dash that is lit and i'm not sure what it is. it is on the upper right side, yellow color, and it appears to be a car with arrow pointing up at the wheels. i recently added oil and checked my spark plugs. any help as to what this light could be would be very appriciated.
thanks

Did you check your owners manual? Something is wrong with your suspension system. Probably best to take it to a dealer and plug it in their computer. This is what the manual says for that indicator:

Suspension System
While the car is running this signals a fault in the suspension system.

I unfortunately do not know what could be causing this problem. When does it happen? Driving? While the car is stopped? In a turn?

Welcome to the site. I hope you are able to solve this problem. If you need more help don't hesitate to ask and make yourself at home.

Regards,
Andrew

thanks guys, i drove the car all weekend with no problems. the car developed a miss, i checked the plugs, one was fouled so i cleaned it and the car ran fine. i then decided to check the oil and found the dipstick to be dry. i checked it running and hot. last night i added 2 quarts of oil and started it and thats where i noticed the light come on for the first time. i will recheck any connections around the shocks i may have bumped off.

guys it smokes lightly and smells of oil out of the engine bay if i rev the engine up high (5-6k)rpms. oil is trickling out somewhere. Algar ferrari is doing an oil change on monday and they said they would look it over and let me know what they think. hopefully it is something i can do my self. if it is too serious, i will sell the car. do not want to get buried in service problems. thanks again for all the help guys.

Rich, It sounds like you might have a minor oil leak out of one of the gaskets. I would keep asking Algar Ferrari questions until you get answers that you are comfortable with.

On the problem with the warning light on the suspension, I had one false warning last year on my F355. I stopped the car, turned off the ignition, waited 5 mintues, then restarted the car. The warning light did not come back on and I have never had another problem.

Goog luck.
