The 550 Maranello is the last car sold in the United States, which had a single digit miles per gallon rating per the EPA. The 550 gets 8 miles to the gallon in the city, which is not great. The Lambo, RR, Bentley, and all the others were 10 miles per gallon or better.

when you say 8 miles to the gallon, you mean the US gallon or the UK gallon?

I don´t understand why the US and the UK don´t use the metric system...

it´s just soooooooooo much better!

my Honda Biz gets 44 km/liter of gasoline

you do the math

He means US gallon.

Yes, this is stupid. We should have switched to the metric system a long time ago and I feel it is a superior system.

I am not interested in the French system of measurement.

Base 12 is the best system. If we go to that system, I would be happy.

ok, so your 550 gets about 3.4 km/liter

my Honda Biz gets about 104 miles per US gallon

so, I spend about 13 times less than you with fuel

but if you think about it, it´s not all that bad: you 550 is more than 13 times faster than my Honda Biz, more than 13 times more fun to drive, more than 13 times more beautiful and exclusiv, more than 13 times more confortable

the problem is not the fuel, the problem is the price you pay to buy the car (and to keep the mechanical parts working well)
