In one of my Sunday newspapers there was an article about a guy called Jim Spiro who bought a Ferrari Testarossa 330 at auction last August for £4.14M GBP (about $7M). This was the car that won Le Mans co-driven by Phil Hill.
Apparently he drives it to work, leaves it at parking meters, fumes in rush hour traffic and confesses he "opens her up a bit" on open roads.
He is quoted as saying "these cars were made to be used" which I think is fantastic, much better than confining the car to being a garage queen!
Justyn.
