I just finished watching the 612 review on 5th Gear. I have to say, that seeing the car in motion changed my perspective on the car. It looks awesome when it's moving faster than 'showroom speed'. And the V12...monster sound. The reviewer (not Tiff or Vicki) summed it up nicely, i would love to own one, but i would hate paying for it.

I saw this too; FYI, the driver is Jason Plato, ex UK Touring car Champ. He can drive!
I was a bit disappointed he didn't track the car ...i agree the 612 looks
100 % better in motion than it looks in all the pics that have been released so far.
Much as i love Ferrari, i think the AM DB9 @ £101 k vs 612 @ £170 k is a no brainer.......................

Hiya Tony. Fancy seeing you here!

Does the DB9 have rear seats? If it does they must be tiny..

Talked to my dealer yesterday and he was quite disappointed with the reception on the 612. He had 3 deposits before the car was unveiled but all 3 have now put their deposit on the Bentley CGT. He was quite disappointed. But told him about the 5th Gear Test and it lifted his spirit a bit.

Nevertheless, it would be very difficult to sell the 612.

I also have it. The ding is damn fast, and what suprised me the most is that it does not have understeer. You steer and it turns, and you really have to push the throttle to get the back out. I would love to know some laptimes compared to other Ferrari's on Fiorano.
