Thought it would be a good idea to make a list of 599 owners on Ferrarilife

Please post up a picture of your 599 and some info about it. It's up to you what info you want to provide but an example would be:

Model: 599 GTB
Year: 2007
Country: UK
Steering: RHD
Chassis number: 110952
Ferrari colour: Rosso Corsa
Interior colour: Nero

In order to keep the thread on topic, please only post once in this thread with all the info you would like to provide on your 599.

Thanks.

Have fun!

Thank you very much Terry. If I recall you were asking for the Chassis Number for your collection. It is 158204.

Now that I have had the car in my possession for two days and cooperative weather. I have had a little opportunity to drive and experience the car. Under normal driving conditions and in auto, it is an amazing luxury car. But just step on the accelerator, even with the Manettino in "Low Grip" mode, this car becomes a beast! I look forward to learning how to drive the car with increased skill and enjoyment.
My Brother-in-law lives in Aloha... Drive by his F-12 and blow his doors off. I don't think he ever got the thing past 65mph! LOL.

Regards, and congrats again.

Mike
Richard- Thanks for the serial number. I have had my 575M for almost 8 years and have never used the Auto or low traction modes. In general, if you use a dry clutch plate F1 system like a 3 pedal with one pedal missing, you will love the 599, or any F1 system. Drive her like she has an automatic transmission, which she does not, and you will not enjoy her as much.
Nice HGTE Scott. Any more photos?
Thanks. Already done 1400 miles in it.

Will get some more next weekend.
Hi Terry,

I am learning what you mean. Although "automatic" is very convenient in heavy traffic or around town, it is not enjoyable. I just need more practice time in low traffic areas to get the hang of this.

Hi Mike,

Is your brother in-law a member of the NWFCA? We are always looking to add friends and we do drives all summer. If he drives with our pack, he'll get it past 65!

Cheers,

Rick
Richard- Not generally understood, but F1 definitely has a learning curve to drive it smoothly. Will not take too long, though, and you will be smoother than you are with 3 pedals.
Greetings All,

I have one issue with my 'new' 599. The Reverse button label has severely deteriorated. I would greatly appreciate suggestions on repairing or improving upon. As well appointed as this car is, I am somewhat surprised by this but, it is what it is. I am intending on showing this at our new NWFCA Concours, so I would like to ensure I don't lose points for whatever changes are required.

Thank you,

Rick
I am a new proud owner of a 2008 599GTB in TDF Blue, Cuoio Daytona seats with blue stitching.
Beautiful car, Rick. I love 599's.

Hopefully we can resolve your R button issue and refinishing it perfectly.
You can add us to the 599 owners group:smile2:
Beautiful car and beautiful colour!!!
Clyde
Boxer,

Beautiful machine. thank you for sharing. I do love Blu TDF, yellow calipers and the modular wheels. I was resigned to a Nero or Grigio for this model, but when I saw it in Blu TDF, that became the primary driver for the car.

It is my intent to enter my car at the NWFCA Concours this year. Hence the stock wheels will be important from a point perspective. I will let you know how it turns out. For the last two years my 04 Nero 360 Modena has won 1st place.

I just wish Spring was a little closer....

Rick

Beautiful car. Authentic Blu? This is a new color to me. It looks more gray from the photos. I know, the images rarely portray the actual color. Thank you for sharing. -Rick
Thank you gentlemen,
the colour looks almost black, so it is a very dark blue. The order number was "PNT1" (Paint Colour Upon Sample).
The black Challenge wheels accent it beautifully. As does the darker brown leather. You choose well! - Rick
Thanks Rick - I also love your colour combination!

Buongiorno Jack,

How could anybody dislike that colour— it is unquestionably gorgeous.

A question,
The matte black wheel finish, is it an original factory-delivered option?
