I have been told that the clutch goes on the f1 at around 18,000 miles.

is this true and how do I go about pricing one out?

That has not been my experience. For one thing there are far too many variables on clutch life to make that blanket a statement. It is like asking how long does it take to drink a pint. The question is (no offense intended) almost nonsense. I could wear out the car before I wore out the clutch, F1 or not.

As to the price that too has many variables and I would suggest that you consult your repair shop of choice for that information. They are the ones that know the car, your driving habits and their parts price structure based on what country they are in and the discount they are able to secure for those parts.
