I don't think the lack of problems on your car can be attributed to the fact that its a V12. Wait in 20 years when your car is as old as the majority of the people talking on here and you'll be fixing it too. Its inevitable that cars wear down as they age just like we do.

Bart, In some of your previous threads you were asking for help with a few problems you were having. It really is a help to be able to get some diagnosis from the other F.F. members. A lot of these guys have V/8s. One of the nice things about the V/8 is that many services can be performed without major disassembly of the car. Keep the 550 long enough and you will see what I mean.

I plan to have this as my retirement auto. They can bury me in it like my wife would like.
